From South Florida to the World
Kay grew up minutes from the beach in South Florida, where the ocean was always within reach. After high school, she moved to Orlando to study Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida. But it was a three-month post-college trip across Europe—visiting 12 countries in a single journey—that changed everything. Walking through cobblestone streets, tasting unfamiliar food, and meeting people from different cultures sparked something in her: a hunger to keep exploring, to keep discovering. That spark brought her to Los Angeles, and now to Yampu, where she helps guests find their own moments of discovery across Peru.

A Musician at Heart
Kay has played piano since second grade, even performing at her high school graduation. Music remains a quiet constant in her life—a creative outlet that balances her work at Yampu.
Dreams of the Stage
If she could do any job for just one day, Kay would be a Broadway singer. "If only I had singing talent," she laughs. "One can dream."
