From Buenos Aires to Patagonia

Follow Maggie's journey through Argentina's most captivating landscapes, from tango-filled city streets to the ice-blue glaciers of Patagonia.

From Peru to Buenos Aires

After exploring some of the best parts of Peru, I flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina and had the morning to myself to relax before my walking tour of the city. On the tour, I visited several neighborhoods such as the center of the city, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, with stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta. It's an amazing city because you get to see a fusion European influence and Latin American culture, history and architecture.

The Soul of Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is well known for its incredible and passionate tango dancers, so it is a real treat to be able to watch the time-honored traditional dance in action. In a dimly lit venue with dramatic lighting, you'll witness the intensity and grace that have defined Argentine culture for generations. Tango is more than performance here—it's the heartbeat of the city, a conversation between two dancers that tells stories of love, loss, and longing. This is where you'll understand why Buenos Aires earned its reputation as the tango capital of the world.
